Escala Dimensional de Obsessões e Compulsões (DOCS)

Descrição:

Escala desenvolvida pela equipe de Jonathan Abramowitz (Psychol Assess. 2010) que classifica a gravidade do TOC em 4 dimensões de sintomas delimitadas com base em evidências empíricas e cujo uso já demonstrou também coerência biológica (Biol Psychiatry CNN 2019).

O escore varia de 0 a 80, sendo 20 pontos para cada sub-categoria:

  • Contaminação
  • Responsabilidade por dano, ferimento ou azar
  • Pensamentos inaceitáveis
  • Simetria ou incompletude

"A cutoff score of 18 provided the best balance between sensitivity and specificity in classifying OCD patients from nonclinical adults. This cutoff score correctly classified about 78% (sensitivity) of OCD patients and 78% of nonclinical adults (specificity). 

A cutoff score of 21 provided the best balance between sensitivity and specificity in classifying OCD patients from those with other anxiety disorders. This cutoff score correctly classified about 70% of OCD patients (sensitivity) and 70% of patients with other anxiety disorders (specificity). "
